Finish profiling for machines without an intergrated dressing unit. By changing the Reishauer Am10 dressing machine with our Pm280 machine, most customers can dramatically improve quality, as well as reduce grinding times by being able to dress multi start wheels.
By using intermediate plate you can mount your Reishauer or Fassler finishing dressing unit to it. The finishing unit is setup as you normally would, while the Burri machine is pre-profiling the blank wheel. You then remove the VPGI rough unit and mount the intermediate plate with the finishing dressing unit in it's place. You are now ready to finish dress your grinding wheel.
