The Burri machine also offers the option of balancing Reishauer wheels automatically (others upon request) for those machines which do not have the machine balancing.

The balance unit is mounted behind the grinding wheel on it's own mounting surface. It comes with an easy to use menu driven software. The balancing is performed fully automatic. The only requirement is that the wheel flange be modified. The wheel is spun at 300 rpm and any state of unbalance is determined by the control. The wheel is then indexed automatically so the weight is in the correct position. The state of balance is removed, the next weight is positioned and the procedure is repeated until the wheel is balanced. The machine checks the final balance of the wheel. If it is not balanced to specification, the entire procedure is repeated.
